3D Community Health: Body.Mind.Spirit. is a service of HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph's hospitals. The team collaborates with Eau Claire and Chippewa County community members and agencies to assess top health concerns and develop targeted action plans to address them. Both hospitals offer educational classes, showcase events with national speakers, local support groups, and resource information to address the top health needs.

HSHS Sacred Heart & St. Joseph's hospitals' 3D Community Health hosts free sessions for anyone who would like to learn how to recognize the warning signs that someone may be thinking about suicide, and how to help them. The training is called "Question, Persuade, Refer" - or "QPR." Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save a life.
HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph's hospitals' 3D Community Health host free Mental Health First Aid class for anyone would like to recognize the unique risk factors and warning signs of specific types of illnesses such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, bipolar disorder, eating disorders and schizophrenia. Specific classes can be presented to discuss youth, veterans, older adults and rural populations.
During the training, attendees will learn the risk factors and warning signs of mental health concerns, be given a five-step action plan to help someone developing a mental health concern or crisis, and be given available evidence-based professional, peer and self-help resources.
